On September 12, Wu Yuanzhi, Chairman of Yunnan Dayi Tea Group, along with his delegation who traveled from Yunnan to Jinzhong, Shanxi, paid a visit to our company for an inspection—and were warmly welcomed by senior company executives.

Chairman Wu and his delegation, accompanied by the company’s Deputy General Managers Wang Binzhou and Zhao Haijun, visited the company’s Board of Directors office building to meet with Chairman Bai Xuankui. They then moved to the seventh-floor conference room in the company’s office building on Yingbin West Road for a warm and cordial discussion with senior management team members.

During the symposium, General Manager Bai Wu Kui, representing the company, welcomed Chairman Wu and his delegation from Dayi Tea Group. He then introduced the guests to Jinshang culture and the spirit of the "New Jinshang," before delving into the company’s development journey, its ongoing major projects, and outlining the company’s future vision and strategic approaches for growth and operations.

After listening to General Bai’s presentation about the company, Chairman Wu first expressed his gratitude for our company’s warm hospitality and then introduced Dayi Tea Group. Dayi Group is dedicated to tea production and sales. Since its establishment, the group has been guided by the mission of "Dedicated to Health, Creating Harmony," adhering to the development principles of "win-win collaboration" and "creating and sharing value." Upholding the tea-making spirit of "focusing solely on crafting exceptional tea," Dayi delivers high-quality tea products and holistic tea lifestyle services to consumers worldwide. Moreover, the group is committed to elevating China’s tea industry to global standards while passionately promoting and preserving the rich heritage of China’s distinguished tea culture on the international stage.

As a professional supplier of tea products and related services, Dayi Group is rooted in heritage yet driven by innovation, blending passion with integrity to continuously push boundaries and create timeless classics. Renowned for its "Dayi" brand Pu-erh tea and other premium offerings, the company has earned the prestigious "Organic" (Natural) Food Certificate from the National Center for Organic Food Development under the State Environmental Protection Administration. Its products have repeatedly claimed gold, silver, and bronze awards at international, national, and provincial-level competitions—and have even secured EU organic certification, enabling them to reach markets across Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Europe, North America, as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan. In 2008, the "Dayi Tea-Making Craftsmanship" was officially recognized as part of China’s National Intangible Cultural Heritage list. In 2010, Dayi Group proudly became the official tea supplier for the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games, setting a remarkable example as a Chinese tea enterprise successfully sponsoring a major international multi-sport event. That same year, "Dayi" was officially certified as a "Time-Honored Brand of China" by China’s Ministry of Commerce. Since its launch in 2011, the large-scale tea culture promotion event "Dayi Carnival" has become a beloved annual tradition, captivating tens of thousands of city residents with its vibrant celebration of tea culture and healthy lifestyles. Today, "Dayi" tea stands as a true icon—synonymous with classic tea excellence and a lifestyle that embraces both wellness and sophistication.

While engaging in tea sales, Dayi Tea actively explores the culture of the "Tea Horse Road," a historically significant concept referring to a vital trade route that emerged between the Han and Tibetan regions from the Tang and Song dynasties through the Republic of China era—primarily used for the exchange of tea and horses. Serving as a bustling, horse-drawn international trade corridor, this route became a vital pathway for economic and cultural exchanges among ethnic groups in Southwest China. On March 5, 2013, the Tea Horse Road was officially designated as the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Heritage Sites by the State Council.

Interestingly enough, in Dongyang Town, located 20 kilometers southeast of Yuci city center, the Chang family—renowned as one of China’s iconic representatives of the Jin merchants—also made tea trading their primary business. With the ambition to "acquire wealth from across the globe" and the bold spirit of pursuing profits far and wide, the Changs cultivated premium teas in the Wuyi Mountains, established trading posts in Khachan (modern-day Kyakhta), and pioneered the vast "Tea Road," extending their reach into Mongolia, Russia, and even Northern Europe. This remarkable legacy spanned over two centuries, ultimately cementing the Chang family as one of China’s wealthiest and most influential merchant dynasties—and earning them the historic title of "China’s First Family in Trade with Russia."

During the exchange about tea, Chairman Wu, a well-known figure in the industry, shared with us many lesser-known stories about Pu'er tea. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, both hosts and guests engaged in an insightful discussion and lively exchange of ideas on potential future collaborations. The conference room was filled with the rich aroma of tea, as everyone chatted and laughed effortlessly—truly capturing the spirit of the ancient Tea Horse Road, where heartfelt conversations blossomed amid the fragrant, soothing scent of tea.
